About the Program: Are you trying to raise capital for your company? Whether you are seeking capital now or for the near future, plan to join us in September to meet and talk with potential funding sources.
Entrepreneurs in search of capital will have an opportunity to speak with representatives in banking, venture capital, angel investing, and investment banking to discuss what may be necessary to raise capital for your company, particularly in light of recent changes in the financial markets.
Our experts will provide valuable tips, strategic insight, and insider knowledge to help you understand the sources of capital available and what will be required to get it. Will the rules and requirements have changed dramatically by late 2009? Our experts in raising money will tell you about this ever changing market and the then-current requirements for each funding source. Entrepreneurship Leaders Release Survey Results on Women-led High Growth Businesses
WIN, the Wharton Small Business Development Center and Ben Franklin Technology Partners partnered to conduct a survey of women business leaders in the Greater Philadelphia region. Specifically, the survey aimed to target women entrepreneurs that lead or own businesses that raise external capital to finance their growth. The survey, one of the first of its kind in the nation, highlights the factors that lead to successful business growth, showcasing the successes - as well as the challenges and barriers that remain.
