 About the Program:
This is a popular networking event, full of WIN spirit and
charm. Enjoy the wonderful summer breezes as you mingle with
interesting WIN women and their guests and unwind by the pool in the cozy
surroundings of a WIN member’s home.
Bring a Friend: Please share the WIN ability to connect and
support women entrepreneurs by bringing a friend or colleague to this
program.
Learn About Laurel House
Laurel House is a domestic violence agency providing safe shelter for women and children; transitional housing for post-shelter families; free and confidential
counseling for domestic abuse survivors and their children; advocacy; case
management; legal services and community education.
In addition, the agency operates Marian’s Attic, an “upscale resale shop” in King of Prussia. Proceeds from the shop help to support the programs of Laurel
House. The shop’s “best sellers” include jewelry (costume and estate) and new
or gently used accessories. WIN members are encouraged to bring items to the
June 28th meeting that can be donated to the shop.
“Wish List” items for Laurel House include: trash bags (kitchen sized and larger); paper towels; phone cards in denominations of 30 and 60 minutes;and grocery store gift cards.
