Mary J. Mullany is a partner in the
Business & Finance Department of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll,
LLP, located in the Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania office. She is a member of the firm’s Securities
Group, Mergers and Acquisitions Group, Technology and Emerging Companies Group
and Health Care Group. Mary concentrates
her practice in the areas of securities, executive compensation, corporate
finance (public and private), corporate governance, pharmaceutical and
biotechnology licensing, general corporate law, business transactions and
health care law. Her client base
includes large, multi-national public companies, public and private
regionally-based companies, biotechnology companies and investment banks. Much of her work with pharmaceutical and
biotechnology companies focuses on securities offerings and other corporate
financing and licensing agreements, including collaborations and joint
ventures. Prior to becoming an attorney,
Mary was a registered nurse with experience in critical care and risk
management. Ms. Mullany is a graduate of
the University of Pennsylvania (B.S.N. 1979), Widener
University (M.S.N. 1988), and Villanova University (J.D., magna cum laude
1993).
